Credit for Professional Experience
Many experienced therapists
in the fields of massage, bodywork, alternative healing
methods, or nursing may not have attended a massage
school. They may have attended a school in their
respective field of health care, served an
apprenticeship or been employed as a practitioner of the
healing arts. Upon submitting the appropriate
documentation (see AICM Catalog) and paying a $500
administrative and testing fee, these professionals may
qualify to be certified as a Licensed Massage Therapist
(LMT) by our school as described in the
AICM Catalog/Student Handbook.
