Introduction to Massage is approximately 8 weeks long (depending on the class schedule). Class availability based on enrollment.

50 Hours Student Clinic Experience
The AICM Introductory Course in Massage Module I is approximately eight weeks long and introduces the student to a real-world experience in massage. Students initially learn massage techniques in the classroom by working on each other. Training focuses on safety issues, Swedish relaxation massage, as well as basic Pathology relating to Clinic experience. Clinic work begins half way through the program after a practical exam on an instructor or a senior AICM student. Graduates of the Introductory to Massage course receive a Certificate of Completion. Upon completion, students are skilled in giving a safe and quality massage. The Introductory Course is a pre-requisite course for further study at AICM. (Students with previous massage experience may skip this course upon verification/documentation of equivalent study and practice.)
MASSAGE THERAPIST CERTIFICATION ~ Module II
$8,800.00 plus $100 registration fee
920 HOURS OF COURSEWORK (Registration fee is waived for Introduction to Massage Module I graduates.)

The Massage Therapist Certification course is approximately 10 months long and consists of 4-hour classes which are held 3 days a week with one weekend per month. Day and night classes are based on enrollment and room availability. Tuition pays for books, oil holster, student clinic scrub tops and supplies, as well as the student’s choice of a massage table or chair, which they receive upon graduation.

Graduates of the Massage Therapist Certification Program receive a Certificate of Completion. Successful completion prepares and enables the student to take the National Examination in Massage Therapy given by NCBTMB. A Washington license may be obtained after passing the National exam, petitioning Washington State and completing the necessary requirements. Tuition includes National testing fees, and $50 towards the Washington License.
