AICM Courses
Intro &
Certification Programs Offered
AICM is in partnership with
the American Medical Massage Association, the only
approved school in the western United States to offer
students exposure to and practical experience in
techniques of Medical Massage Therapy. We offer two
programs: Introduction to Therapeutic Massage & Massage
Therapy Certification Program.
MODULE I: _______________________
Introduction to Therapeutic Massage
Graduates will be awarded a
Certificate of Completion.

MODULE II: ______________________
Massage Therapy Certification Program
Upon completion of this
advanced course, graduates will be awarded a Certificate
of Completion and will be qualified to take the National
Certification Examination with the
National
Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
(NCBTMB). Upon successful completion of the National
Exam, students may petition Washington State for a
License in Massage Therapy.

MODULE III: ______________________
Medical Massage
Includes registration,
books, materials, testing fee and optional AMMA
membership. Designed to teach the massage therapist to
identify abnormally tense and rigid soft tissue such as
muscle, ligaments, fascia and the articulations of the
body; and to then apply a scientifically based system of
corrective techniques to treat injury to those soft
tissue structures of the human body.
